Why I specialize in cancer
Patients who are affected by cancer have a variety of needs, as cancer impacts their body, mind, and spirit. I like the challenge of helping them articulate what they need and putting together the right resources—it’s like connecting the pieces of a puzzle. I find it powerful to meet people at such a vulnerable time and provide them with something truly meaningful as they face life after or with cancer.

I’ve been a social worker since 2005 and have worked in many different settings. No matter what questions or needs someone brings to me, I’ve likely had some level of experience with it or know how to get them the right support for it.
