Carrie Hatfield

Chief Growth Officer

Carrie has spent more than 25 years in the healthcare industry. She led the Fitbit Health Solutions team focusing specifically on Strategic Health Plan Partnerships across the US. Her primary objective was integrating Fitbit devices and services into Clinical Programs, Products and Health Plan designs to create sustained engagement and successful outcomes over time.

Carrie also led 13 Clinical Condition Centers at Humana across well, acute and chronic disease states and created programs to offset medical trends. She designed clinical programs in pharmacy such as medication adherence and drug utilization review programs at Humana to ensure patient safety and compliance. In addition, she led operations on the Trade Relation team negotiating pharmaceutical rebate contracts to help buy down premiums allowing members access to expensive medications.

Prior to Humana, Carrie was the Director of Oncology at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY where she implemented a Palliative Care Program after seeing her own Grandfather, Grandmother and Mother needing the services. Her family’s battle with cancer and navigating the complexities of the healthcare system is what inspires Carrie to focus her efforts on health and wellbeing, and meeting people where they are in their health journey.

Carrie is Six Sigma certified and seeks to improve not only processes in healthcare but in her life and the lives of others as well. Carrie was selected for a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX after receiving her MHA/ MBA from St. Louis University. She serves on several boards: The American Cancer Society Health Initiative Action team, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and LHAB Diabetes Committee to name a few. Carrie currently resides in Louisville, KY and spends her spare time taking barre classes, pilates, playing tennis and spending time with her family and 2 dogs, Buster and Charlie.
